Research confirms that journaling is a remarkably effective tool for improving mind and body. Several studies suggest that daily expressive writing helps reduce stress, improve quality of life and may help people navigate challenging physical and mental health conditions.
For decades, authors, poets and writers of all kinds have touted the art of writing as a method of healing. Writing allows you to process your own story and share challenging thoughts on the page that you don’t want to speak aloud. You will need about 15 minutes for this writing exercise. Enjoy the process. Go all in and be raw and honest with yourself. This is for your eyes only. You write in order to get to your deep truths.
Afterwards—be soft on yourself. Treat yourself to something nice, or go out and eat your fave food. You deserve to be rewarded for taking the time to talk to the part of you that have bene hurting or celebrating or have bene unclear or foggy. You deserve your own clarity. Enjoy writing!

Someone who is mentally fit is aware.
With awareness we don’t fall victim to the mind’s limiting tendencies that rule us if we lack mental fitness. Our minds will create doubts–escape thoughts–when we are stressed. If we listen to these doubts we’ll tend to react and escape the stress by saying “take” or going down. In some cases like yes-fall zones we need to develop the ability to push through these doubts. Doing this expands our mental fitness.
To do this we need to operate from a part of us that is different than our thinking mind. That part is awareness. What is the difference between “thinking” and “awareness?”
Thinking is thought intensive while awareness is presence or simple attention in the moment. “Thinking” is when your mind creates thoughts about the situation you are in.
“Awareness” is when your attention is focused on the situation simply observing with your senses. You are aware through what you see, hear, feel, smell, taste. Thinking separates us from the immediacy of the situation.
Awareness gives us direct perception of the situation and allows us to perceive it more accurately.

Wherever people congregate, there will be collective energy in that space, like hospitals, prisons, or even concert halls and bars. Energy is formative, causative. If we are challenged by an ineffective behavior, or an outdated belief system; If we have a physical issue or concern, we can get to root cause by engaging and clearing our energy field. Nothing happens physically or emotionally that isn’t generated first energetically.
7 — Your crown chakra connects you to Source, divinity, the Multiverse. It can also be impacted by energies that cloud spiritual awareness and skew the ability to perceive yourself as one with All That Is. A clear crown chakra authorizes you to live a spiritually rich life, in deep connection to the energies and resources that inspire and support your evolution.
6 — The sixth chakra, in the center of your head, is your idea generator and the keeper of your belief systems. Belief systems can be wildly affirming and expansive. And they can sometimes carry unconscious limitations. Owning your inner narrative and mining and evolving your beliefs opens up your idea generator to uninhibited potentiality and possibility.
5 — Your throat chakra enables authentic self-expression. When you easily say ‘yes’ when you mean yes and ‘no’ when you mean no, you’re coherent. Yet authenticity isn’t just about your yes’s and no’s. There’s always room to increase your core alignment and to bring your gorgeous self more fully into the world. Releasing energy in the throat chakra organically shifts your being state. What a gift to effortlessly move in the direction of authenticity and autonomy!
4 — Located in the center of your chest, your heart chakra supports self-love and love and compassion for others. But it’s way bigger than that! Have you ever had a moment where you viscerally understood that we truly are all one? It’s a powerful, yet fleeting awareness. Individuated awareness, connected to everyone and everything, is the ultimate function of the heart chakra. Clearing the heart chakra releases burden and sorrow, making room for compassion, presence and the ability to take action without overwhelm.
3—The third chakra is your ‘get it done’ center. It galvanizes, marshals and streams energy to support you in meeting your day, every day. Your third chakra is an actualizing resource for your life. Clearing the third chakra increases vitality, and the ability to complete tasks, manifest ideas, experiences and opportunities. When cleared, the third chakra is a humming pot of productivity, aligned with your desires and intentions.
2 — The second chakra is the seat of emotion. Your emotions. Yet, too often it gets focused on other people’s emotions. An imbalanced second chakra creates caretakers, sensitives and empaths. This is often a result of trauma, where sussing out other people’s emotional states was a way of staying safe and informed. Holding others’ emotional energy displaces your energy. That’s a cause of burnout, and can even lead to a variety of digestive, auto-immune and other physical issues. Clearing the second chakra brings you home to your own emotional awareness and supports you in being self-contained, letting other people take responsibility for their own emotions and experience. Many emotional issues that are long-standing, like anxiety, depression, rage, fear/phobias, can be resolved through a regular clearing practice in the second chakra.
1 — Your first chakra resonates the energy to acknowledge and achieve your physical needs. When early childhood trauma has been part of one’s experience, it can be difficult to get needs met. When you clear your first chakra, you can learn to own and meet your needs through effective and empowered self-responsibility.

There are different stages of realizing that we are truly connected, and that all life is connected. One stage is that you have the hunch, or intuitively feeling, that all is indeed one. That is already a wonderful experience, and way of life. There is also a state in which you feel the sorrows and happiness of others, as if they were your own, since on a deeper level you are connected with everyone. That is a beautiful and notable spiritual achievement. In another state you don’t only feel their emotions, but you experience that the divine life (the essence) that is in you is the same divine Life that is in the plants, all animal, all humans, and all living creatures, including people.
If this is not philosophical but a true experience, it is an advanced stage. In the highest stage you don’t only feel connected, or feel the happiness or pain of plants, animals, humans, but you ARE them.
Your sense of identity expands, and you enter into One-ness. In other words, your sense of identity shifts from being a person, “I am Ana” or “I am Marie”, to being the Spirit that lives in everything. That is the highest connectedness.

A spirit guide meditation is designed to help you connect with your personal spirit guide. As you work with your guide, you will become more and more attuned to their energy, and they will walk ever more closely beside you on your life path.
Before you begin, I suggest having a notepad or journal next to you, and a pen for writing down your experience at the end of your meditation. Set aside 10–15 minutes to prepare for the meditation.
If you are feeling alone, facing difficult times, and in need of guidance, know that you are never truly alone. Anytime you wish, you have the option to contact your spirit guide—a powerful energy that is dedicated to watching over you, supporting you, and being an ever-present force of loving-kindness in your life. While many who have crossed over from this physical existence may care for and watch over us, a spirit guide is one with whom we share a particularly close connection.
Some spirit guides have been with you for your entire life, even since before you were born.
Others came on your team as you needed them at different times in your life, and you can use your free will to request more spirit guides still.
Your particular spiritual guidance squad, the team of spirit guides assigned to you, could include any or all of the following- archangels, guardian angels, spirit animals, ascended masters, helper angels or departed loved ones.

Open Awareness is where we simply rest in the awareness of awareness, feeling what it's like to be conscious without paying attention to anything in particular. In everyday life, open awareness means approaching situations with fresh eyes, letting go of our habitual reactions and our expectations for the future.
